Elliah is a 2020 Dramatists Guild Foundation Fellow, a 2021 Rhinebeck Writers resident, a 2022 Goodspeed Grove resident, and the composer & lyricist for several shows in ongoing development: THE DEATH OF DESERT ROSE (book by Jessica Kahkoska, 2021 option by SBR Productions); BABA (book by Jessica Kahkoska, 2022 mainstage at ISU); a TBA film-to-stage adaptation of a major blockbuster; and a TBA workshop production at Signature Theatre in D.C., among others. His first musical, DUST CAN'T KILL ME (book by Abigail Carney, dir. Srđa Vasiljević, chor. Jennifer Jancuska) was performed at the New York International Fringe Festival in 2014 (Overall Excellence Award for Best Music & Lyrics), the New York Musical Festival in 2016 (Best Music), and at Le Poisson Rouge to be recorded for The Score podcast series (prod. Michael Kimmel, Allison Bressi).


Elliah has also developed musicals with the ASTIR Lab Series (created by Justin Nichols and Jancuska in collaboration with The BringAbout), in residency at The Barn Arts Collective, and at SPACE on Ryder Farm. An alum of the Johnny Mercer Foundation Songwriters Project, Elliah also studied at Yale with Jeanine Tesori and Michael Korie.
